FIELD: rocketry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket shells of volley fire reaction systems. Proposed solid propellant charge has housing, head semi charge with star-like channel and tail semicharge with cylindrical channel, end face cups and protective holding layer. Tail semicharge is made with initial thickness of burning arch in section passing through zone of contact of nozzle end face cup with protective holding layer being 0.85-0.99 of length of contact, in axial longitudinal section, of nozzle end face cup with tail semicharge. Head semicharge is made with maximum initial thickness of burning arch in section passing through zone of contact of end face cup pointed to tail semicharge, with protective holding layer being 0.85-0.99 of length of zone of contact, in axial longitudinal section, of said cup with head semicharge.
EFFECT: improved reliability of functioning of charge with high volumetric filling owing to reduction of temperature conditions of rocket engine body.
