FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: rocket solid fuel charge consists of case, of protective-fixing layer, of end collars, of head half-charge with star-shaped channel and of tail half-charge; the latter has cylinder channel with axial symmetrical groove. In cross section of the star-shaped channel of the head half-charge minimal distance from a peak of ray to the point, where radius, passing through an arch of the head half-charge of maximal initial thickness, crosses the protective-fixing layer, is equal to 0.92…1.0 of initial thickness of a burning arch average to length of the tail half-charge. Length of axis symmetrical groove is 2.0…2.5 of length of cantilever section of the tail half-charge in the region of the front end.
EFFECT: increased reliability of solid fuel charge and reduced spread of power characteristics of engine.
