FIELD: means for monitoring and adjustment of thickness of moving plate materials, applicable for determination of the thickness of moving rubber and rubberized cord sheets in the process of their manufacture on the calender lines of the tire-making industry. SUBSTANCE: a rotary discrete photoelectric transducer is installed in the device on a rotary lever coaxially with the measuring roller. The transducer output is connected to the output of the fast-count channel of the counters-timers board connected to a programmable controller. Installed on the calender frame is a contactless switch engageable with a metal locking lever rigidly secured on the end section of the calender roll. The output of the contactless switch is connected to the input of the channel of the controller discrete input. The electric motors of the control mechanisms of the respective roll clearances are connected to the outputs of the discrete output channel is series with the control units. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurement, determination of the integral length of the moving plate material directly on the calender rolls in the length of their circumference, and enhanced operating abilities of the control system on the whole. 1 dwg
