FIELD: pavement and coverings. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road coverings for railway and tram-car crossings, particularly to construction of plates forming the crossings and also device for their mounting. Proposed railway crossing includes plates made of rubber and rubber-cord wastes resting on track skeleton and ballast and secured by screw brackets. Novelty is that adjacent to rails zones of plates, both inner and outer ones adjoin rail underhand profile over its entire height. Device has tubular section lever with stop on one of its ends, and bracket located under other end. Rocker is secured in middle of lever. For mounting rubber-containing covering of railway crossing, lever is made curved, rocker is furnished with fastening device engaging with plate and consisting of slings and rods. Stop is elongated and is coupled with jack heel by wire rope. EFFECT: reduced cost of mounting of railway crossing, improved reliability. 4 cl, 7 dwg
