NOZZLE HEAD SET FOR HOT WATER BOTTLE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: nozzle head set has body member equipped with basic and detachable flanges defining hermetically sealed cavity, valves allowing adjustable pressure of gaseous medium to be created and maintained inside hot water bottle by means of outside discharge and suction device. Adjustable pressure immediately acts upon washing or medicinal liquid in cavity or upon elastic pack (blood bag) filled with medicinal liquid or donor's blood. In the former case mentioned liquids are administered through hose and enema tip with closing device at its outer end, with hose opposite end being dipped into medicinal liquid, and in the latter case liquids are administered through hose, micro dosing apparatus and hollow needle at outer end of hose, with opposite end of hose being hermetically connected to flexible packet (blood bag) placed in hot water bottle cavity. Apparatus may be used for administering various media into patient's body cavities, in particular, for anal introduction of washing or medicinal liquid or for intravenous injection of medicinal liquid and blood to render emergency aid under nonstationary conditions.
