Positioned on the outer side of the base flanges are grooves of a segment section with holes of the ducts connecting the grooves to the sleeve cavity accommodating the piston. The flat elastic blood tubes are made in the form of sections placed in tube grooves and fastened on detachable flanges hermetically fixed on the base flanges by roller cassettes. The piston reciprocates with the aid of the rod, fixed in a longitudinal groove of the rod is a rack engageable with a gear-wheel, whose axle is connected to the electric motor shaft through a reduction gear. In the extreme positions of the piston the direction of motor rotation is reversed with the aid of limit switches. A pressure-relief valve is positioned in the area of attachment of the rod to the piston, this valve is used for relief of the excessive pressure built up by the piston in the sleeve cavity, in whose upper part, on its inner surface, provision is made for grooves used for suction of free air with a subsequent compression of it and injection to the tube grooves. Positioned on the outer surface of each base flange is a discharge valve in the form of a slot crossing the tube grooves, the valve is hermetically closed by an elastic diaphragm, it communicates with the atmosphere.
