FIELD: mechanical engineering for woodworking industry, producing products of art like pillars and columns. SUBSTANCE: machine contains bed, guideways, cross slide with plate with the tool, clamping and rotating mechanisms for the workpiece. The mechanisms are provided with lock pins containing of shank and plate provided with tenons. The shank and the plate are interconnected by controllable link. The workpiece has compound motion due to rotation of driving lock pins. The workpiece is working in a fixed position of cutting cross slide. The position of the cross slide defines shape of ornamental elements. When the workpiece is fixed and the milling tool is replaced by the cutting disk we can produce pillars with flats inclined to the longitudinal axis. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 9 dwg
