FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed body of combustion hopper car designed for transportation of alumina has middle hermetically sealed bin-type compartment 5 with vertical end face walls 12 and chambers adjoining the walls and equipment with binding channels at bottom. Side walls in zone of arrangement of chambers are provided with through door apertures 8. vertical end face walls are made load-bearing. They rest on center sill and binding channels to which truss are rigidly secured in zone of arrangement of vertical load-bearing walls. Each bar is made of curved plate adjoining lower flange of binding channel in zone of location of step bearing support and compartment. Box- section load-bearing post is installed under load-bearing end face wall. U-shaped load-bearing post strengthened by ribs is secured inside binding channel.
