FIELD: measurement of forces and torques acting on wheel during bench tests; determination of wheel motion parameters. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes interconnected outer frame 1 and inner 5 with wheel 11 under test mounted in it; wheel 11 is engageable with force measuring members and measuring circuit. Outer frame 1 is made in form of two horizontal webs 2 and two vertical uprights 3 interconnected by means of transversal plate. Inner 5 is made in form of vertical supports 6 articulated on horizontal webs 2 of outer frame 1; they are articulated with bearing beams 7 articulated on transversal shaft with wheel 11 under test; they are interconnected by means of front transversal web 8 and rear transversal web which is articulated with transversal plate of outer frame 1 by means of force measuring member 20. Device is also provided with race 14 fitted with motion drive. Transversal shaft with wheel 11 under test is provided with platform secured on it and equipped with changeable weights 13; swivel frame 12 is articulated for rotation around axis of wheel 11 under test; it is also provided with braking force setting unit.
