FIELD: medicine, oncoproctology. SUBSTANCE: sigmoid flexure stump is covered with a rubber tip by applying it onto the edge of sigmoid flexure and the part of its mesentery. One edge of gauze filter cloth is tied up to the rectal stump with a thread. Gauze filter cloth is placed into small pelvic cavity. To its another edge, by using a thread, the edge of sigmoid flexure is tied up and covered with mesenteric part under a rubber tip. Demucosation of anal canal is conducted. Rectal stump is removed manually. Filter cloth should be also removed along stretching the sigmoid stump. EFFECT: higher efficiency to prevent mesenteric injury of sigmoid flexure stump and bringing down the rectal one. 3 ex, 4 dwg
