FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves introduced probe into the rectum lumen at the perineal stage of operation. The perianal skin is stretched. Two purse-string sutures are put in over the rectal mucous membrane. The internal purse-string suture is tightened fixing in this way the anal canal mucosa to the probe. The anal canal mucosa is circularly incised between the both purse-string sutures. The external purse-string suture is tightened after descending the rectum. Interrupted sutures between the reduced rectum and the perianal skin are located under the external purse-string suture. EFFECT: high reliability of colo-anal anastomosis. 5 dwg
