FIELD: aeration systems of biological purification works in small settlements, aeration systems of aeration chambers of filters-bioreactors for after-cleaning of sewage water and other contaminated waters, chambers-reactors for oxidation of bivalent iron when cleaning natural water by oxygen from air. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to process of saturation of sewage and the like water by oxygen from air. Proposed aerator has central stand pipe conical funnel in upper part, case enclosing central stand pipe and terminating in upper part in mini-reservoir and installed on horizontal blank through which central stand pipe passes. Central stand pipe with case for pressure space limited from bottom by horizontal blank. Branch pipe with flange to let in influent liquid is arranged in lower part of case. Device is furnished additionally with air pipes arranged vertically in pressure space. Lower ends of air pipes get inside central stand pipe at different levels on section from lower cut of conical funnel to horizontal blank. Upper ends of pipes are brought out to level above processed liquid level in minireservoir. For ejection of air into central stand pipe, lower ends of air pipes are fitted in space of central stand pipe through semi- branches, their section cuts being pointed in direction of flow.
