FIELD: sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing concentration of rectified sugar-containing solution to syrup state; mixing syrup with seed in granulating device having vertical cylindrical rotating drum. Radial immovable hollow blades with openings for supplying hot air into agitated seed mass are located inside cylindrical drum. In stabilized process, granulated ready product is used as crystal seed. Syrup is introduced into drum in an amount of 0.1-2.0 kg per 1 kg of granular product. Flow rate of syrup with seed relative to immovable blades is 0.2-0.5 m/s. EFFECT: increased efficiency by homogeneous sizes of granules, simplified process and reduced loss of product. 2 cl, 1 dwg
