SCRAPER FOR MINING BED PLACED DEPOSITS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: transportation of lump and loose loads by hauling. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cable drag scrapers and it can be used for mining bed placer deposits of diamonds, for instance, in Angols. Proposed scraper has side and rear walls, transverse braces, trailed devices with head and tail pull cables and it consists of two articulated sections arranged along scraper length. Horizontally oriented joint between scraper sections is arranged over upper edge of scraper. Adjacent side walls of sections are made with overlapping and are shaped to arc of circumference with center coinciding with axis of joint. Central angle of turning of sections relative to each other corresponds to maximum curvature of river bed cross profile. EFFECT: increased efficiency and capacity of scraper plant owing to reduction of diamond losses. 2 cl, 3 dwg
