DEVICE FOR MINING OF RIVER-BED DIAMOND PLACER Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry; applicable in mining of river-bed diamond placers and in exploitation of flooded diamond placers. SUBSTANCE: device has scraper, head and two tail ropes, three-drum winch, snatch blocks, unloading platform with grade, rigid inclined stage installed in zone of coming-out of loaded scraper onto river band and located in underwater part of zone of band slope and adjacent to unloading platform on bank. In this case, stage part immersed into water is hinged to fixed above-water part for turning in vertical plane and provided with some secured to inclined levers facing both sides of scraper longitudinal axis. Skids are located above lower edge of scraper. Snatch blocks of tail ropes are mounted on movable sleds fixed by means of rods driven into ground. EFFECT: increased efficiency of mining of diamond-containing placers. 3 dwg
