FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for transportation of lump and loose loads by dragging, namely, to cable drag scrapers designed for use at bed placer mining such as mining of diamond placer deposits in Angola. Proposed scraper contains side and rear walls, cross tie-rods, and trailing devices with head and tail pull cables. Scraper is furnished with weight increasing members from side of head cable, weight of members being chosen to provide longitudinal stability of scraper relative to lower edge of its rear wall under action of tension of head cable and summary weight of scraper. Said weight increasing members are made in form of bars secured on side walls of scraper. Members can be made in form of brackets with counterweights secured on scraper and pointed to side of head cable. Counterweights are installed for displacement and fixing on brackets.
EFFECT: increased capacity and efficiency of scraper in operation.
