FIELD: civil engineering, applicable in manufacture of outer panels and blocks of residential and public buildings erected in areas with a hot climate. SUBSTANCE: the ventilated member has inner vertical cavities with a warmth-keeping jacket stiffening ribs between them with additional slit-like cavities interconnected by horizontal ducts, and connected with the atmosphere with the aid of holes. The holes connecting the through ventilated slit-like cavities with the atmosphere are made in the lower part of the ventilated wall member in the form of a converging nozzle, and in its upper part - in the form of a divergent nozzle. Curvilinear ducts longitudinally arranged from the entry to the exit of each nozzle are made on the inner surface both of the converging and divergent nozzles. EFFECT: improved heat-shielding properties of the outer panels and blocks of buildings and structures due to elimination of congest zones in through ventilated slit-like cavities on the outer side of the member due to eddying of the air flow entering in and coming out of the holes connected with the atmosphere. 1 cl, 5 dwg
