DEVICE DETERMINING CONCENTRATION OF GAS IN LIQUID Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device is applicable for determination of concentration of gas dissolved in liquid by method of liquid outgassing and of measurement of liberated gas by chemical indicator. It has chamber with piston, measurement pipette with non-return valve, tube carrying away gas built into piston tightly and fitted with shut-off unit, indicator and aspirator creating vacuum. When shut-off unit is closed chamber operates as sampler and when it is open it functions as deaerator. Tightness of sampling process and further analysis of sample are provided thanks to fitting of device with non-return valve, shut-off unit and to merging of three elements ( pump, measuring vessel and aerator ) in one chamber. EFFECT: increased accuracy of determination of concentration of gas in liquid, simplified design of device and easy handling. 1 dwg
