FIELD: computer engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the various types of microchips data reading devices, preferably from the storage microchips having the controller and / or connector mechanical damages. Device comprises base, on which the microchip to be read is placed, set of contact conducting needles on the posts, reading device with internal control controller, switching device configured to the reader with contact needles software switching. Posts are placed on the base in a circle and are made with through slots with possibility of the contact needles reciprocating movement in these slots in radial direction relative to the said circle with the possibility of the contact needles position adjusting and securing relative to the microchip to be read, with the provision of their pointed operating ends contact with the microchip to be read printed circuit board predetermined components. Reader is provided with the computer with software installed thereon. Invention allows to simplify the microchips data reading device design and to expand its application field, as well as reduce the microcircuits data reading process labor input, accelerate this process and increase the data reading results reliability.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the possibility of various types of microchips reading without the switching device changing and in provision of protection against the external electromagnetic fields.
