FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: the pocket-type grain cleaner has a cellular cylinder, chute, loading and unloading installations. The cylinder cell has the shape and dimensions of wild oat grains. Cell length l equals the maximum length of wild oat. The maximum width and depth of the cell are at distance a=0.4l from the rear wall and equal 1/5l and 1/8l respectively, they decrease in the direction to the rear and front walls to 1/10l and 1/16l respectively. The rear wall forms an angle of 90 deg. with the cylinder surface. The front and side walls form an angle of 110 deg. with it. The pocket-type grain cleaner is provided with a device in the form of an inclined plane forming angle α with the horizontal in the cylinder cross-section, perpendicularly installed on the plane are guide plates forming slope β with the horizontal in the longitudinal section of the cylinder proceeding from the following condition: ϕ, where α = β≥ϕ.-grain slope on the installation surface. The cellular cylinder is provided with a chute for long impurities, whose rear wall consists of cellular fixed part and upper concave movable adjustable part installed with its edge in the upper point of the cylinder circumference, or by 10 to 15 deg. to the right of it. The cylinder cell is wedge-shaped on the surface oriented towards the cylinder rotation. The cell length equals the maximum length of wild oat. The cell front wall, having length 1/5l, forms an angle of 20 deg. with the cylinder surface, and the rear wall- an angle of 60 deg., whose width and depth make up 1/2l.
