FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of pneumatic separation of loose material, for instance grain material according to density and aerodynamic properties. Pneumatic separator for fractional separation and cleaning of grain includes fan, loading device, connected to pneumatic separation channel, in which air distribution grid is installed, fixed with its upper part under loading device, and with its lower part it is connected to hoppers of separation products collection. Pneumatic separation channel is installed at the angle of α=45° to horizontal plane. Air distribution grid is fixed perpendicular to channel walls. Loading device is equipped with vibration pneumatic tray, in back wall of which lower and upper outlet openings are arranged, having flexible joints accordingly with the first and second loading openings arranged in the upper wall of channel. Under front facet of the second loading opening of channel, inclined guide plate is fixed wit angle of β=70°-85° and length of ℓ=(1.5-3)h, where h is thickness of solid layer of grain on surface of air distribution grid. In plane of unloading openings of hoppers for grain fraction, louver sieves are installed, plates of which create angle of 70° to channel surface and are installed at the distance of 6-8 mm from each other, at that front walls of hoppers are equipped with movable gates.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and capacity, reduced dimensions of separator.
