DISK-TYPE CLEANER-OAT SEPARATOR Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment for cleaning of food grain from elongated contaminants used in storage and processing enterprises. SUBSTANCE: cleaner-oat separator has receiving-working and working disks mounted on single shaft in casing, branch pipe for cleaned grain, charging, collecting-discharging branch pipes. Disk cells are made elongated in accordance with shape and sizes of long seed fraction (oat), in particular, at value l of cell length, its maximal width and depth are equal to b = 0,2•l, h = 0,16•l, are arranged in its middle part at distance of α = 0,4•l from rear wall and are reducing in longitudinal direction, respectively, up to sizes of b′ = 0,14•l and h′ = 0,08•l, to define inclined supporting parts of outer (from central disk) side wall and cell bottom. Cell rear supporting wall has straight supporting part having width of b″ = 0,08•l and inclined part defining angle β = 45^° to perpendicular of cell longitudinal axis, to which at the same angle is arranged front guiding wall of cell. Cleaner has sorting-guiding device with lower pressed sieves arranged between disks and having size of 6-8 mm. Sieves are positioned with their bases on inner surface of cleaner to define with its side edges 8-16 mm gap with cellular surface of disk, and angle of 20-40 deg to its vertical diameter. Each lower sieve is directed with its apex against motion of grain under process. Receiving-inclined sieves with round holes of 6-8 mm diameter are arranged between receiving-working disks, below base of charging branch pipe. EFFECT: increased efficiency in removal of oat from grain due to stabilized falling of oat into cell and retaining therein. 2 cl, 9 dwg
