FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: proposed disk separator comprises receiving-operating and operating cellular disks with buckets, upper interdisk guide plates, lower interdisk guides of screens, receiving-sorting inclined interdisk screens, cleaned grain branch pipes, loading and discharging devices. Cellular surface of each disk, on its both sides, is formed by alternating segments with cells for corn cockle or wild oats. Loading branch pipe is arranged on separator housing front face wall, above discharge branch pipe. Auger is arranged in chute-like recess made in the housing lower wall to take mineral impurities out, the auger spiral surface making the angle of 15° to 20° with its axis. Cleaned grain branch pipe outlet features rectangular shape, with its side α=d₂-d₁> where d₁ is inner and d₂ is outer diametres of the disk circular surface. The hole upper side is parallel to its horizontal diametre and located at b=(0.8 to 1.2)α from it, while the hole inner side wall is located at c=(0.9 to 1.3)α from its vertical diametre. Each receiving-sorting interdisk screen consists, over its length, of open and screen parts and is located on the housing inner surface. Screen part begins from the disk circular surface inner circumference till its lower end.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of grain cleaning of short, long and mineral impurities.
