FIELD: shipbuilding; shipboards coaxial propellers interconnected by means of planetary trains. SUBSTANCE: planetary train includes two sun-gear wheels 2 and 12. Sun-gear wheel 12 with outer friction surface is mounted on shipboard shaft 1 through adapter bush 2 and sun-gear wheel 2 with inner friction surface is mounted in propeller hub 6; second propeller 4 connected with carrier 5 is freely revolving on adapter bush 2. Used as satellite gears are balls (rollers) which transmit axial force from propellers to shipboard shaft. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability of friction reduction gear makes it possible to use high-speed engines with lesser diameters of shipboard shafts on which two high-speed propellers of lesser diameter may be additionally mounted. 2 cl, 3 dwg
