FIELD: special compositions. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to waterdispersed, chrome-free compositions for covering used to provide protection against corrosion of metallic backing and to method of its making and cover based on thereof. Composition has an organosilicon binding agent silane with epoxy-functional group, metal in the form of particles taken in the amount at least about 1.5 weight % (metallic powder and/or metallic scales) taken among the group including zinc, aluminum, their alloys, thickening agent, for example, cellulose one, modified clays, an aqueous medium and an organic solvent taken in the amount 1-30 weight % comprising high-boiling organic liquid, for example, glycols, glycol ethers, diacetone alcohol. The composition is prepared by preparing the preliminary mixture (premix) comprising, at least, some its components and the following stirring with other components of the composition. The composition is used for cover preparing that involves preparing a metallic backing with cover of this composition and this applied cover is subjected for thermic treatment. Backing with this cover can comprise additionally the upper cover (electroprecipitable, autoprecipitable, hardening cover). Composition shows the prolonged time of working, it can be applied by usual methods, it protects backing for a long time and shows good adhesion.
