FIELD: manufacture of fittings, possibly distribution devices for different-designation pipelines. SUBSTANCE: cock includes body with central duct, rotary rod mounted in groove of ball gate with possibility of engaging with ball gate. The last is provided with pass-through openings normal relative to rotation axis and it rests upon sealing seats placed in body and in threaded sleeves. Said sleeves are forced to ball gate. Sealing seats are in the form of united angular member with working portion less than working portion of seats mounted in sleeves. Said seats are placed in sleeves with possibility of float motion together with gate relative to sleeves at tightening until position corresponding to matching of axes of body, rod and gate. Seats are tapered at one side by thickness value of seat. Ball gate is made of corundum-containing ceramic including alumina in quantity no less than 96+-0.5 mass%, having strength no less than 360 MPa and mean grain size no more than 8 micrometers+-12%.
