FIELD: railway transport; tank cars. SUBSTANCE: proposed draining device arranged in lower part of tank car has housing with main and additional gates. Intermediate gate is installed over additional gate. Intermediate gate is made in form of rotary flap with side spherical surface engaged for hermetic sealing with nonmetallic sealing seat found in ring insert of housing. Flap turning axle is square to longitudinal axis of housing being transversely displaced relative to housing axis. Flap turning axle is mated through cranks with end face surface of flap pointed to additional gate. EFFECT: provision of safety at transportation and draining-filling of liquids and in emergency. 16 cl, 9 dwg
