FIELD: building materials. SUBSTANCE: composition comprises butylrubber, polyisobutylene, mineral oil and chalk as a filling agent where bitumen and technical carbon as a pigment are added additionally. Hydrophobic chalk is used as a filling agent that is treated preliminary with hydrophobizing addition taken among the group: soapnaphth, acidol, addition based on synthetic fatty acids and the composition has components taken in the following ratio, wt.%: butylrubber, 5-9; polyisobutylene, 11-15; bitumen, 5-5.2; mineral oil, 5-6.5; technical carbon, 12.5-12.8; hydrophobic chalk, 56- 56.8. The composition is used as sealing compositions for seams sealing by borders of surfaces being mainly glass-glass in civil, housing and industrial engineering and building. EFFECT: enhanced water resistance in combination with good physical-mechanical properties. 1 tbl
