FIELD: chemical industry, in particular polysilicate binder and adhesive composition for adhesives and protective and ornamental coats.
SUBSTANCE: claimed binder is obtained by providing reaction product of aqueous sodium and/or potassium silicate with predetermined module and density, followed by introducing of amorphous silica with specific surface of 175-380 m2/g. Binder of present invention is useful in industrial and civil building and for corrosion protection.
EFFECT: environmentally friendly adhesive composition with increased adhesion including under prolonged water action, improved spreadability, and storage stability, increased heat and fire resistance.
