METHOD OF PREVENTION OF WICK BURNER CONTAMINATION Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; agriculture, fishing, tourism, different branches of industry, in Far North regions, in emergency situations. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, wick burner is provided with concentrically fitted cylindrical divider consisting of inner wall and outer wall with fasteners forming cylindrical divider with displaced radial holes. Housing is installed and arranged outside the divider with subsequent mounting of screen cover onto housing. Contamination of wick burner is prevented owing to the fact that height of housing and walls is made decreasing to side of central channel and then outer wall of divider is shaped and equal volumes of central channel are formed. Central channel is formed by inner wall of divider. Ring clearances are formed between inner and outer walls of divider and outer wall of divider and housing. Then fasteners are fixed relative to walls and divider, housing is mounted and fixed in position relative to burner after which screen cover is fitted on housing. EFFECT: reduced level of contamination of wick burner and pollution of ambient atmosphere, improved reliability and increased service life of burner. 5 dwg
