FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves making interaction of a biological object and one of oscillatory circuit members having inductance coil and capacitor. Resonance resistance and resonance capacity of the circuit is determined under conditions of no influence of the biological object and when the influence takes place. Circuit characteristic ratios are determined. When making examination, voltage is supplied to the oscillatory circuit in a series of frequencies to scan the measuring circuit in frequency with some step in a frequency bandwidth. Amplitude-frequency response of the oscillatory circuit with interacting biological object is determined, parameters of the circuit are determined, and the parameters are compared to those measured without biological object influence. Biological object impedance is determined. Interaction is achieved by introducing the biological object into the internal or external magnetic field of the inductance coil of the oscillatory circuit, by means of galvanic contact to the biological object tissues with metal electrodes electrically connected to the communication winding of inductance coil of the oscillatory circuit or by means of metal electrodes which working surfaces are covered with dielectric layer contacting with the biological object tissues, each of the electrodes being having electric connection to one of the oscillatory circuit capacitor leads. The device has alternating frequency test signal generator, gauge member having inductance coil and capacitor building up an oscillatory circuit and recorder. Computer having additional unit for building and processing signals is used as the alternating frequency test signal generator and recorder. Parallel input/output port of the unit for building and processing signals is connected to the bus for making connection to additional computer units. The main output is connected to gauge unit input. The signal input is connected to gauge unit output. The device has unit for building and processing signals having interface unit, digital-to-analog converter, voltage-controlled generator, synchronizer unit, frequency measuring unit, analog-to-digital converter and channel commutator. EFFECT: high reliability of evaluation. 2 dwg, 13 tbl
