FIELD: manufacture of ventilation blocks. SUBSTANCE: the ventilation block is made of two symmetrical halves, each molded in a mould, to this end, the mould is installed in a reinforcing cage and inserts are then fastened on it, then the mould is filled with a concrete mix, and grooves for placing of sealant are made on the separating ribs of the exhaust and intake ducts over the entire length, the concrete mix is cured up to the form-dismantling strength, after that the mould end face edges are opened and the ready-made half of the ventilation block is pressed out of the mould by means of a groove cutter, then the two halves are joined to each other so that the grooves for placing of sealant would coincide, the grooves are preliminarily filled with sealant, and the inserts of each half are rigidly fastened to each other. The device is made in the form of a horizontal mould to half the product, the hole-forming cores of the exhaust ducts are rigidly fastened on a vibrating table, and the hole-forming cores of the intake ducts are made extensible and provided with a drive, a groove cutter for making of grooves on the product for placing of sealant is positioned in each hole-forming core of the exhaust and intake ducts over their entire length and for pressing-out of the product from the mould, the end face edges are provided with a cam of the drive for vertical movement of each hole-forming core, on lower end of the rod is conjugate to the cam.
