FIELD: materials handling facilities; increased length conveyors. SUBSTANCE: proposed conveyor has belt closed on drive drum and tensioner drum with twin rolls connected to belt sides by means of brackets for resting on rigid tubular guides forming closed circuit in vertical plane and installed for movement in tensioner zone and motionlessly on the rest of conveyor. Conveyor has additional guides installed in spaces between movable and fixed tubular guides. One of twin rolls in space sections rests on additional guide. Additional guides on each run of belt can be made in form of steel wire ropes secured by one end inside movable tubular guide and passed through end face and longitudinal slot of fixed tubular guide for reeving in two deflecting sheaves installed at side of fixed and movable guides. Additional guides can be made in form of fixed lengths of tubes to provide movement of inner roll along the guides on sections of spaces between movable and fixed guides. EFFECT: enlarged sphere of application of conveyors owing to increased length, possibility of use of conveyor belt of larger residual elongation. 3 cl, 4 dwg
