FIELD: materials handling facilities; conveyors. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to overhead belt conveyors for transportation of lump loads. It can be used at grinding, sorting and concentrating mills. Proposed conveyor has endless belt closed on drive and tension drums to side of which rolls are connected through brackets. Rolls are installed for resting on rigid tubular guides. Conveyor has also support device for belt in zone of load feed with provision of preliminary deformation of belt, and frame. Support device is made of at least two rollers installed widthwise the belt in its middle part to provide upward curving of belt middle part when there is no load on belt on levers oriented crosswise relative to longitudinal axis of conveyor. Levers are installed for turning in vertical plane, are spring-loaded relative to conveyor plane and are arranged symmetrically relative to longitudinal axis of conveyor. EFFECT: reduced height of conveyor in zone of load feed to belt, reduced wear of belt owing to improved damping properties of support device. 2 dwg
