FIELD: methods and devices for oil well dewaxing. SUBSTANCE: method consists in use of linear cable lowered into well to depth of possible wax accumulation. Cable is preliminarily heated to temperature exceeding temperature of wax melting and lowered further into well as wax is melted. Cable end coming in contact with wax is heated to temperature close to temperature of permissible heating of material of cable insulation. Mobile unit has a vehicle on which plant is installed for heating of electric heating linear cable which is lowered into well. Heating cable is located on controlled winch and connected to controlled source of power supply. Plant for heating is made in the form of internal combustion engine with electric generator connected with controlled source of power supply. Electric heating cable is passed through at least two guide members, one of which is designed for directed lowering of cable through packing gland into well. EFFECT: higher efficiency of dewaxing due to selection of hating member and conditions of its heating. 13 cl, 7 dwg
