FIELD: oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: process of dewaxing of oil and gas wells foresees conducting of preparation operation, insertion of heating cable into zone of possible wax formation, heating of cable with control over its heating condition. Possible depth of wax formation, length of heating cable and its capacity depending on discharge of well, on pressure in well, on temperature of melting of insulation material of heating cable and on temperature in zone of position of lower end of heating cable sunk into well are determined in process of conducting of preparation operation. Energy consumed for heating is adjusted by time of operation of heating cable and its temperature which is set and maintained over entire length of its working part 5-50 C above temperature of wax melting. Temperature of flow of product discharged from well is kept depending on ambient temperature and is at least 5 C higher than maximum temperature of discharged flow of product in absence of heating cable. Heating cable includes two heating elements as minimum, insulated one from another, arranged in insulation sheath and connected with their ends to power supply source. Other ends of elements are tied up together and insulated. Ratio of electric resistance of heating elements is selected within limits from 1.0 to 10.0. System controlling heating of cable is designed for stepped control over temperature of heating cable with alternation of its heating to maximum specified temperature and its cooling within limits of 30 C from this temperature. EFFECT: raised output of well. 19 cl, 6 dwg
