FIELD: cryogenic and vacuum engineering; construction of freezing-out traps used in vacuum technologies, for example, evacuation of heat- insulated cavities in cryogenic reservoirs. SUBSTANCE: heat-insulated housing is provided with reservoir filled with cryogenic fluid. Cylindrical jacket forms cavity together with wall of reservoir which is brought in communication with space being evacuated, for example with heatinsulated cavity of cryogenic reservoir. Wall of jacket is provided with helical transversal fins found on its outer and inner surfaces forming helical passages together with walls of housing and reservoir.
