FIELD: cryogenic and vacuum engineering; construction of freezing-out traps used in vacuum technologies, for example evacuation of heat- insulated cavities of cryogenic reservoir. SUBSTANCE: cylindrical housing is provided with coaxial reservoir filled with cryogenic fluid and provided with helical fins on outer surface; cylindrical wall adjoining the ends is mounted at spaced relation to walls of housing forming passage for oil vapor flow. Cover and screen are secured on open end of reservoir. Located coaxially relative to walls of housing is additional cylinder with helical fins adjoining cylindrical wall forming helical passage which is blanked off on side of bottom of housing and is brought in communication with cavity of cover through screen. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cooling due to use of cold of cryogenic fluid vapors. 2 dwg
