RETAINED FORMS FOR CHANNEL FORMATION IN CONCRETE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: forms have sheathing members and a load-bearing frame. Sheathing members are made in the form of thin-walled box. The frame is made of upper, lower and side members whose configurations are close to those of respective shelves of box. Upper and lower members are interconnected by their end faces with hinge box from one side permitting their mutual turning, and with the help of two rods provided with special heads from one other side. Rod special heads allow change of rod length and have two parallel longitudinal sheet belts, each spaced at a distance close to box width and connected by transverse ribs whose external edges are located on internal surface of respective box shelf. Side members are interconnected by their ends with the help of intersecting rods hinged in point of intersection. Rod ends are connected with side members by hinge whose units whose one pair is connected with each other by additional rod with special head, and the other pair is made for linear displacement of ends of intersecting rods along side members.
