FIELD: locksmith's work. SUBSTANCE: the plastic seal has a hollow body with a through hole, flexible enveloping member inserted in the mentioned hole of the body, plastic collet installed inside the body for engagement with the enveloping member; one end of the enveloping member is made integral with the body, its other end consists of a tapered tail-piece and alternating links, each consisting of two sections, a cylindrical one of smaller diameter, and a section combined with it made in the form of a truncated cone, whose end face of the larger diameter serves as a stop of the collet tabs, the collet tabs are made of a different length so that only a part of the tabs is engageable with one of the stops, while the other part of them is positioned on the outer surface of the tapered section of the adjacent link; the length of the collet tabs differs by the value equal to the length of the truncated cone of the link of the enveloping member.
