FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has head with neck and pedicle, cotyloid cavity as semispherical cup, lubricating fluid and cavity containing the lubricating fluid communicating with articulation slit and sealing insert located around the prosthesis head and attached to the cup end face with a ring member. The cavity is formed by meridian grooves made on the concave cup surface, cistern mounted on the cup pole, connecting pipes, canals and corrugated tubes manufactured from flexible material allowing contraction and tension passing inside of the cup wall and opening at its end face. The close ends are attached to neck bead and the other ones are mounted on connecting pipes. The grooves come together in the cistern and join the canals in the equator direction. The lubrication fluid matches the synovial fluid in viscosimetric properties. EFFECT: prolonged prosthesis service life. 3 dwg
