FIELD: alloys, covers. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of synthesis of heat-resistant covers used for protection of nichrome alloys from gaseous corrosion, in part, roasting tools. Dross comprises a glass matrix of the following composition, wt.-%: SiO2, 35.20-38.90; CaO, 8.10-10.50; MgO, 1.50-3.20; Al2O3, 24.00-28.50; Li2O, 6.10-9.30; TiO2, 3.50-6.20; BaO, 1.30-4.00; K2O, 3.50-6.20; ZnO, 2.10-7.50; additions for grinding (above 100%), wt. -%: clay, 2.50-8.50; H3BO3, 0.001-0.50; ZnO, 0.30-7.50; P2O3, 0.50-3.80, and water, 40-50% of dross dry mass. Cover has a white color and high thermomechanical properties: heat resistance is 30-80 thermal cyclings and coefficient of linear expansion (110-120)*10-7K-1. Invention provides decrease of roasting point of cover without deterioration of its thermomechanical properties in exploitation, light color of cover. EFFECT: improved properties of dross. 3 ex
