FIELD: liquid purification equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has horizontally arranged cylindrical housing made of dielectric material. Housing is equipped with branch pipes for supplying and withdrawing treated liquid and annular anode and cathode arranged inside housing in horizontal position. Terminals are attached to housing through sealing members for supplying steady-voltage direct current to electrodes. Apparatus is used for electrochemical purification of liquids, in particular, sugar-containing solutions. EFFECT: simplified construction, intensified liquid purifying process and increased efficiency. 2 dwg
