FIELD: sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: saturator has vertical cylindrical casing with bottom, liquid-gas injector for dispersal of saturation gas in sugar-containing solution, saturated juice discharge branch pipe and waste gas discharge branch pipe. Saturator is further equipped with vertical cylindrical shell positioned outside cylindrical casing and equipped with conical bottom and upper cover. Liquid-gas injector is mounted on shell cover so that liquid-gas injector mixing chamber is extending axially of cover axis. Upper part of shell is connected through pipeline to cyclone having open upper part and mounted in saturator space above juice surface. Saturation gas distributors positioned under cyclone throughout height thereof and axially aligned with casing are made in the form of continuous and annular plates alternatively arranged in crosswise direction and provided with downward oriented flanges. Dispersing members attached to flange edges are made in the form of flexible tapes with toothed cuts. Saturator may be used for treating defecated juice or for clarifying raw sugar with saturation gas. EFFECT: increased efficiency in cleaning sugar-containing solution and increased coefficient of utilization of carbon dioxide of saturation gas. 1 dwg
