FIELD: sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves slaking lime with water and adding NaCl electrolyte solution. For preparing solution, said salt is used in an amount of 0.0050-0.0098 % by weight of lime. Method further involves supplying water with electrolyte into diaphragm-type electrolyzer comprising insoluble electrodes to provide for water acidity of 6.0-7.5 in its chamber adjoining anode; slaking lime with water prepared according to said method.
