FIELD: precision machine building. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for creating super precise linear drive in machine tool building, metrology, optics and electronics. Proposed noncontact magnetic screw train has screw 1 and nut 2 including permanent magnet 3 made in form of ring with magnetization along its axis and installed between magnetic circuits 14 with pole shoes 4. Fine- module thread is cut on screw 1 and pole shoes 4 whose grooves are filled up solid non- magnetic material flush with thread crests. Screw 1 and nut 2 interact through radial clearance into which compressed flowing medium from external source is fed along supply channels 13 through aerostatic throttling units 12 installed on edges of nut 2. Rings made of porous material, jets or calibrated slots can be used as aerostatic throttling elements 12. Invention contains description of design versions of noncontact magnetic screw train. EFFECT: improved kinematic accuracy and rigidity of train at small overall dimensions. 10 cl, 10 dwg
