FIELD: construction of ammunition warheads with a bursting charge. SUBSTANCE: the method for crushing of the warhead all-metal outer body, with a layer of destructive components placed between it and the bursting charge, consists in alternative action of an impact momentum on the body at a blasting of the bursting charge. The time difference of action of the impact momentum on the body on the different sides from the required lines of its separation is provided due to the fact that clearances with a stepped variation of their size in the lines of separation are made between the body and the layer of destructive components. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of ammunition due to the enhanced stability of crushing of the all-metal body into the destructive components of the preset dimensions and mass. 4 dwg
