FIELD: armament, applicable in constructions of warheads or rockets and other ammunition equipped with explosive compounds. SUBSTANCE: in contradistinction to the known method including the crushing of the all-metal envelope according to the knurling grid on it at a blast of the bursting charge, according to the offered method, for organized crushing of the all-metal envelope adjoining the bursting charge at a burst of the bursting charge, provision is made for diversification of the beginning of motion of the zones of the all-metal envelope on different sides from the required lines of its separation due to the provision of clearances with a stepped variation of their values between the all-metal envelope and the layer of striking components adjoining it to the required lines of separation of the all-metal envelope. IN contradistinction of the known warhead including the bursting charge and the body with the assembly of striking components of two or more layers, in the offered warhead the layer of striking components adjoining the bursting charge is made in the form of an all-metal envelope, and transverse-clearances with a stepped variation of their value in the longitudinal section are made between it and the second layer of striking components from the bursting charge. The clearances are formed by grooves on the second layer of striking components from the bursting charge and have a triangular or close to it shape in the longitudinal section, the angles adjoining the all-metal envelope and not forming a stepped variation of the clearance value face one end at least for groups of several clearances. In the warhead with a cylindrical all-metal envelope the second layer of the striking component from the bursting charge is made in the form of a set of rings and a stepped variation of the value of clearances falls on the joints of the rings. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of the warhead due to provision of a stable crushing of the all-metal envelope adjoining the bursting charge into the striking components of the required dimensions and mass with a simultaneously enhanced adaptability to manufacture of the body. 4 cl, 5 dwg
