FIELD: equipment weighing strip materials. SUBSTANCE: invention can be employed to check mass and geometrical parameters of strip material. It has carrying platform 1 with feeding cells 4 made in it and measurement chamber 9 with porous partition 10 which lower part communicates with source of compressed air positioned under platform. Upper part of chamber is connected through axial hole 8 to flexible crimped cylindrical pot 6 with hemispherical bottom 7 where ball 13 is freely placed. Surface of ball 13 is evenly provided with discrete coat in the form of alternating light-reflecting and light-absorbing meridian lines. Ball 13 has ferromagnetic bar which coincides with line passing through poles of ball. Pair of magnets is positioned in measurement chamber, axially symmetric with it, along crossing line of plane of alignment of hemispherical bottom to cylindrical part and plane of cross-section of carrying platform.
