FIELD: search for mineral products. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for processing of materials of small-scale geochemical searches, for prediction of latent and buried mineralization, for conducting searches under unfavorable landscape conditions, for exposure of low-contrast objects. Method of geochemical search for deposits of mineral resources is related to geology and includes sampling of natural objects where presence of geochemical haloes is presumed. Multielement analysis of samples for ore-forming and accompanying chemical elements- indicators is conducted. Obtained multidimensional geochemical data are standardized by division of contents of elements into percentage abundance ( background )values or they are converted into standardized, numbered and other values having close functions and parameters of distribution. Standardized values are arranged in each sample in the order of their decrease. Arranged geochemical spectra are compared with use of nonparametric Spearman criterion (Rsp). Ore-halo classes of samples are exposed and their similarities with specified standard classes of ores or periore halos is determined.
